Today is Lisa's 2nd surgery. Dr. Tracy and team will be eliminating two(2) sections of the brain that are causing her seizures. I had to ask "Do they know what they are doing?" I/we are confident and in total support of their expertise. They are of course brain surgeons!
We are nervous and anticipating her outcome.
Your prayers and support are so appreciated and felt! Please send direct prayers for the surgeon and recovery! Also for Lisa to sleep!
Love, Peace, and all understanding to all!

The Party by Olivia
This year Olivia had the best Kindergarten experience. Her teacher challenged her and her class to do their best EVERYDAY. It truly was a privilege to have Ms. Stewart this year! Here is a sample of Olivia's writing (I'll do my best to translate)
********************************************
The Paty (Party)
The Chiljrin wher (The children were)
Jumping like Kagroos
on the boowes haws (bounce house)
Pepl whr taking (People where talking)
Pepl wher lafing(People where laughing)
like hyenas(she spelled this right)
Pepl wher eating like bears
Pepl wher playing in the rain
Pepl wher in the haws (house)
woching TV (watching)
*******************************************
Ms Stewart couldn't wait to show me last week and she pointed out that she spelled Hyenas right. I asked her if there was a book around the class about hyenas and she said no. The last full day of school is today and I have to say I will miss Ms. Stewart. She left quite an impression on Olivia.
The party Olivia was talking about was the Memorial Day party in Decatur with Ron's family. I couldn't name everyone here, but Ron can. These are all his cousins young and old, aunts and uncles, sister, neice and nephew... you name it, mostly everyone was there! Here is a picture...

Olivia's Recital
Olivia has been busy this year doing Acrobatics and Ballet. Her recital was this weekend and I was busy getting her ready. Two nights, tues/wed of rehersal (full makeup) and two nights thurs/fri of Recital (more make-up and hairspray). Needless to say, Olivia didn't go to school on Friday and she was quite pampered. According to Olivia it was the best day EVER!
Kids Birthday
Where has the time gone?
Caleb turned the big 8 this year and Olivia is now 6. School ends soon and summer begins in just a few short days, 8 to be exact. It has been a fun & busy year for us and we are getting ready for summer break.

Kristina's Wedding
Ron's little Cousin got married last Sunday and all her little cousin's were in the wedding. Caleb and KJ were the Ring Bearer's, Olivia was the flower girl, and Dominique was a Jr. Bridesmaid.
Kristina and Erik got married at the Patrick Haley Mansion in Joliet and it was the prettiest wedding location I have ever seen, except for mine in Vegas of course :) Caleb want's to buy the mansion when he grows up :)

back - briefly
Wow, been busy.
In a nutshell, Ron's grandfather passed away late September. He was battling Phnumonia. He was 84 years old. Such a sweet man.
Caleb started Hockey. He LOVES IT!!! Too bad he won't be able to go to practice this coming Thursday due to his spelling test where he got 3 wrong.
Olivia continues to do Ballet and Acrobatics and loving it.
Both Caleb and Olivia take Art Classes downtown.
Ron and I have been asked to be Discussion Leaders for our BSF class this year. The Womens class meets Tuesday mornings and the Mens class meets Monday evening. It has been such a busy but fulfilling time for us.
We also are watching Heroes back to back and not getting much sleep. Kinda like LOST, but Ron like's this one better b/c he said it just like x-men which he loves. So that has been fun.
I have been working on one of our rentals in my spare time. Running the kids all over the place, looking for houses in Decatur, and trying to keep up with the laundry at home.
So, hopefully with the holidays coming up I will get some downtime and get some pictures posted. I have just a few to share today.
Cheers to Dad-Daddy! You will be greatly missed!
